Morning y’all!

I’ve got a very full day today with some exciting chats in the (generative) AI space and so I’m taking most of the morning to prep for those things.

I hope the week has been treating you well friends! The last day of July is here and I can’t believe we’re now seriously in the back-half of 2024 — before we know it we’ll be in 2025 and we’ll barely remember days like today.

OpenAI is opening it’s voice mode and I’m not terribly excited about this quite yet. But, are you? Let me know in the comments.

Perplexity just launched a new "Publishers' Program" to share ad revenue with media partners. This follows plagiarism accusations and it seems they are trying to do a bit of PR cleanup, if I’m to be honest.
