A Startup Equity Calculator via Claude and Legal Issues with Figma AI (Copyright)
A bunch of interesting artificial intelligence links for the day!
Morning y’all!
I’m taking a few weeks off and I’ve already started my vacay this weekend with a stroll down the Colorado River and even a long, winding drive through the hills.
I even found time to mess more with Claude 3.5 and I was able to put this Startup Equity Calculator (based of an existing artifact) and change a number of things to my personal liking:
Claude is impressing me even more with these remixes. I shared 10 other creative ways folks are using it in last week’s issue.
In addition, Anthropic is apparently working on a new screenshot tool for Claude:
This would allow users to seamlessly take screenshots from other screens or tabs! That would be a very useful feature indeed.
Anyways, I’m staying active, productive, and hopefully somewhat useful during these next few weeks (and a trip to NYC). Let’s go!
Steph Smith is a beast (in all the right and positive ways) and has figured out a way to sell content for big bucks. More on this interview via Dan Shipper.
China says that you need to align with their (socialist) models or else.
I just laughed a bit when I saw this. I don’t think this was an actual Wikipedia edit but maybe it’s about as accurate as it gets. The conspiracy theories are swirling, especially as it relates to political dealings. More on the incident massive here.
This app is an open source version of Anthropic's Artifacts UI in their Claude chat app. A cool open source project!
In Japan, one AI dating app is getting a lot of attention.
OpenAI is in talks with chip designers like Broadcom to develop its own AI chip, aiming to reduce dependence on scarce and expensive GPUs from Nvidia. Oh. My.
Here’s another market map. You’re welcome. 2 more in that link too.
What are the legal implications of Figma AI, especially regarding NDAs and copyright? Apparently folks are talking about this now.
Electronic Arts created digital clones of 11,000 college football players for their upcoming video game in 3 months — using AI to create the avatars using athletes’ headshot photographs. I’m trying to think about how this is a bad thing and I can’t come up with anything immediately, but, I’m sure I’m missing something?
And finally, I really like this minimal phone. Have a great Monday and week!
