Darth Vader Lives On, Free Video Course on Claude, and Cruise Missiles
News and tools from the artificial intelligence world.
Morning y’all!
I hope you’re having a good week so far. Yesterday’s issue had some really interesting stuff like drones fighting fires and AI helping farmers get better yield and to a real degree this is the type of stuff that gets me the most excited because the use case is so obvious and beneficial!
To start, there are a few videos that I’ve been collecting that might suit your fancy:
Folks are getting on the education and awareness train and growing their (YouTube) channels with AI-centric content. Let it begin.
Anduril is getting into cruise missiles.
There’s apparently a growing deepfake problem in South Korea. Whoops.
AI is boosting the economy by $20 trillion but I personally feel this is just simply a re-allocation of funds that may have gone elsewhere if it wasn’t for AI. So, maybe a more “efficient” boost than other areas of industry?
Runway is releasing an API for it’s video models. That’s it, that’s the update.
Chrome extension for running browser automations.
Is AI killing SaaS? A thought piece. At first blush I don’t understand why these two are even in a competitive stance since AI is more of a technological implementation while SaaS is a (operating) business model. Huh.
More AI agents are going to invade your local Slack experience. Get ready.
James Earl Jones agreed to let AI replicate his Darth Vader voice before his death, allowing the character to continue in future Star Wars productions. Cool!
And that’s it folks! Have a great day!
