Morning y’all!
The web was all up and about Meta’s new Orion AR glasses and my hot take is that they are ugly af. Sorry, not sorry. Until glasses become “cool” (I know, subjective) I simply don’t believe they are going to see mass adoption.
The reason that corrective lenses are a thing is because it’s not about the eye correction as much as it is the look, the feel, and the glam — there isn’t, quite literally, a one-size-fits-all.
And until then, these are just a spectacle to review; pun intended.
