Industry news and some apps for you to take a look at.
Morning y’all!
It’s Thursday and we’re one day away from Friday! Now some of you may be retired and may have forgotten the feeling but I’ve always liked Thursdays more than Friday’s because of the anticipation.
That’s probably why I like to live and work at the frontier of technology — it’s a Thursday nearly every single day, especially in artificial intelligence land.

ElevenLabs has “text to sound” now. Stability AI is dropping something similar today too (below). Create sound effects, instrumental tracks, soundscapes, and character voices for all types of creators.
Google has thoughts on designing for privacy in an AI-centric world. I find this humorous since Google’s entire business model is anything but privacy conscious. How they continue to talk out of both sides of their mouth is simply breathtaking.

Stability AI dropped Stable Audio Open, a new model for allowing users to create short audio samples and sound effects from just text prompts. Isn’t unique but it’s worth trying other tools out if this is your jam.
a16z has thoughts about AI agents and marketing and sales with the most productive teams fully embracing the best tools available.
Asana is a popular work management platform that I’ve used in the past (with little success). But, some folks will die on a hill for it. Perhaps they’ll stay their course with new AI Teammates.
Apple isn’t leading the AI race and here’s how it’s failed to do just that, citing too much caution and secrecy and hardware challenges.
A product analyst for your product. Apparently.
Palmer Luckey of Anduril thinks you should talk to Founders Fund, General Catalyst, and 8VC among others for defense and AI. I agree since those folks have backed the next-gen defense companies and products. Let’s go.
Superlist Make is ideal for teamwork, personal projects, and more. Includes tasks, notes, and app integration. For teams or individuals.
Ashton Kutcher has access to OpenAI’s Sora and he’s thoroughly impressed; he has a few thoughts on how this is going to impact the film industry too.
Test your software engineering skills with an advanced AI mock interview and see how you stack up against others. Give it a whirl.
